Beth's Bountiful Blessings

Sep. 20, 2007 - Thursday Thoughts!

Ahh, I am tired tonight! But it is that good tired! I got the bathroom all primed this morning then we had Homeschool playgroup this afternoon and my wonderful husband helped me paint this evening.

If you want to know how far a quart of paint will go you should our guest bathroom. We got every wall surface painted, but we are going to need a 2nd coat. We were gifted one quart from Jay's Mama, long story if you really want to know, ask Grandma. The moral of that story is that we are going to have to get more paint. But that will wait till next week, I am tired and need to do some more pressing chores. You know like washing clothes, because I am such a big fan of clean ones!

I was talking to Nana tonight and telling her about working on the bathroom. She declared it sounded like I was nesting and I plead guilty. All of of a sudden I have all of this stuff I want to get done. I gotta pace myself and my poor husband, he does not mind helping but he would probably faint if he knew just how much I want to get done! You could have eaten off our floors and every thing was in place when Lillie was born. It is really funny, because I am not usually neat freak at all.

I saw the cutest little baby girl today and told my friend A, We were going to get one of those. She proceeded to tell me that she was excited and sometimes she thought she was more excited than me. I was kind of taken aback but then I realized that I may sound like like I am not very excited. See I am nervous about the whole labor and delivery thing. I told her last time I did not know I was supposed to be afraid. She said she thinks I am wired wrong and that the mommy amnesia part of me is messed up. I said all of that to say this, Please pray for me. I try not to worry and think about it all the time but I am truly nervous. I don't think I could be anymore excited about this baby, it is the getting her here part that I worry about!

Bless your heart if you read all the way through that, you should win an award! I am headed to bed, hope you all rest well and have a wonderful Friday!

AWW! Bless your heart. It'll all be fine, and later you'll barely remember this part of being pregnant! Can't wait to see pictures of the bathroom!

You will be fine and we will pray for an easy labor. The prize will be worth it!

Heehee! Nest away Beth! I didn't get it done with Baby Girl and now I'm STILL trying to catch up! ;-)

I'll be praying for a smooth delivery for you.

If it's any consolation, I hear the first is the hardest. It definitely was for me. Each one has been easier than the last! (I'm not sure any of them could beat a scheduled c-section though, so if we have another it'll be a bit harder LOL)

Try not worry - you keep nesting. Lillie was a miracle and we know Becca is too. God will never give us something and not equip us with what we need to do our part. It will be another wonderful miracle and blessing when Becca gets !!!!

Love you- Nana

You didn't finish my statement! I told you that I was more excited than you because I can always give her back when she starts to fuss! Don't stress about the delivery. All will go well and you know I am praying for you too!

I hit enter before I was finished. I just wanted to tell you I got to hold baby Anna during Sunday School this morning and got a gentle reminder of what it's like holding those tiny ones again. I can't wait!
