May. 20, 2007 - a resident died this morning

One of my residents passed away at about 12:40 this morning. I hope she was ready to meet the Lord. I think she may have been, but there are some troubling questions I have. This is one of those moments in life when I wish I would have done some things differently. Not that I didn't talk to her about it -- I did. But I might have given it a different emphasis.

She was only 51.

It is hard when the residents die. You get so attached to them, especially certain ones. I was very sad when Ed & Alice died. We also had to clean them up before the morgue came to get them. It creeps people out when I say that I have brushed the teeth of a dead person.
