By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge
the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. ~Proverbs 24:3-4
• May. 21, 2009 - My baby is graduating!
My oldest son (I still think of him as that snugglely 5 yr old in my mind) is graduating from high school in a few weeks. Last night I filled out graduation announcement and planned his open house. This morning I looked at a college dorm checklist and scheduled his physical for his college health form.
It seems like just yesterday he was so little. I miss those days when a simple hug and kiss from mommy made all the boo boos better. For some reason, that doesn't work as well with my young adult.
I was reading about all those moms getting weepy eyed when saying good-bye at the college. Me, I am almost weepy just filling out the medical form! Good thing he is only going to be about 30 minutes away!
His graduation picture:
How I still picture him:
Or even younger:
Guess I need to go find more cute pictures for his open house!

(and (((HUGS))) to you!
I always think of my kids as toddlers...they're growing up so fast, I'll be in your shoes in no time!
Blessings to your family!
