• May. 29, 2009 - Dancing in the Streets

A new interpretation of dancing in the streets --> I didn't get a picture of it, but at one point she was laying in the puddles splashing.  At least the rain was warm! School is done for Mark and Mei.  Testing is done.  We are going to do some things this summer. Mark commented that he wished school was not over - he needs something to fill up his days.  We will be finishing up Astronomy and starting Flying Creatures, but just for the fun of it.  No notebooking or schedule.  Just reading together for fun - and learning stuff too!  Mei will be doing some grammar and other LA stuff.  She is skipping WP's LA2 but needs a few things before going on to LA3.  She is also asking about math to do this summer.  I might let her start her new books or I might find her some thing extra to do.  More practice on multiplication facts would be good. Paul graduates in a week and half.  I remember a day towards the end of Kindergarten when he stated - "I will finish this year, but I am not going to school for 12 more years and I am not going to college!".  Funny how things change.  He is already talking about graduate school and he hasn't even started his BS yet!
