Blubber Bloggers currently has two polls that are active on our Yahoogroups homepage.  To get to the polls, just click on the bottom of any of your emails from the loop, and you'll find yourself on the homepage.  Then click on "Polls" on the left hand side. 

One poll is on holidays and how they affect our diet and fitness programs.  I'd love to see as many of you as possible participate in this poll, as I'd like to use the results as part of a conversation on the loop this week.  Soooo, hop on over and vote :-)

The other poll is a new one.  Many have asked about opening the group to hs bloggers who are not part of the HSB communities, but are hs bloggers on other sites.  I ran this by Gena, and her response was " I am TOTALLY ok with it being outside of HSB.  That allows our community to mix with others and that is a good thing!"  If we were to open the group to other hs bloggers, we would still require them to have a current hs related blog, and check their blog to be certain that they will fit in well with our groups purpose and values.  I want to make certain that everyone who is a member of our group will always feel that they are safe on our loop.  It will always be a closed group and require permission to be a member, and the yahoogroup homesite will be open to members only. 

Please vote in this poll. It asks your opinion on opening the group to hs friends who blog elsewhere.  I want your input on this before making a final decision.  If you have very strong feelings one way or another, please email me at mkin@udata.com and let me know your thoughts, so that I can take them into consideration when making the decision.  I would like to know by Tuesday, as our blog will be featured in this week's Carnival of Homeschooling, and I would like to let people know for sure if they are able to join or not.
