May. 4, 2009 - New Fashioned World, Old Fashioned God
While we were out in town today in one of the buildings we were in I happened to hear a radio commercial. It went somewhat like the following.
"Ed likes to do things the old fashioned way, shake hands and always tell the truth..."
WHAT!? Since when did shaking hands and always telling the truth become "old fashioned!"
The world needs the Lord more then I ever thought if telling the truth is considered old fashioned! It's bad enough that courting, and modestly dressing is "old fashioned," but now telling the truth is!
After I think about it, if always telling the truth is old fashioned to the world, would not that make God himself old fashioned?
Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
