Jun. 16, 2009 - Back to the Daily Grind

On Saturday morning I was awakened from the land of slumber by my very excited Mum. Dad had been plotting in his brain,  shared his plans with her, and they had taken action. They wanted to leave by noon on an impromptu camping trip.

Us kids grudgingly allowed this rare occurrence to take place. Trying our best to act like we were excited and having fun.

The camping trip started out as rather one of our worst, but turned into a wonderfully fun trip discovering the unknown. The unknown? That would be the water slides. I myself had never been on one, and had a smashing good time figuring out how to go faster each time with my Daddy.

A memory I hope I will remember forever happened about an hour before the pool was going to close. It wasn't as crowded anymore and my family and I had space to move around. Before we knew it we had started a game of keep away, the beach ball we had bought hours before being the object to "keep away." I'm surprised it didn't pop with all the pressure it was under.

The next day after a few hours more in the pool we packed everything up and headed for home. I think all of us were sorry it was over and wished we had a few more days. Once we reached home we cleaned and unpacked the motor home and were once again back to daily life. Oh joy.

Isn't it a blast there?!?! I love it, even though our trip wasn't the best! :-)

You haven't been on a water slide before? I thought you had! Oh man, they are fun! I wish I had known you were leaving! I would have told you how you can go faster on the water slides! :-)

Sounds like you had fun!

Ooh, that DOES look like fun, Jane!! =)

And thank you for your comment. I am glad everything worked out so well for you on your camping trip. =)

Oh, did she really? What was it like? Was it hard for her? Did she have to compete? Sorry for all of these questions...I just want to know! =D Oh, thank you. I was hoping it would not be boring, and luckily it didn't come out TOO boring. But I myself enjoy reading things like that; I wish people posted those sorts of entries more often!

Oh, one more thing: do you by any chance have a blog button? If so, please PM it to me if you would like....I would love to add it to my collection! Thank you! =)

Have a wonderful week, living in "old" ways again!

Thank you for your comment. It was very incouraging...:-p

I can't stand other people touching my eyes! :-(

But it's ok, I survived! And I feel great! =)

Your trip to the water park sounds like fun!! Impromptu family games can be a lot of fun. :-) I'm glad you enjoyed your first waterslide experience... mine wasn't so great, but I enjoy them more now, haha.
Hope you're having a great summer!
