Jun. 25, 2009 - The Promises of God
I have been thinking a lot lately about the promises of God. Not only because of what my family is going through right now, but partly because of the Ignition Outreach challenge I have been joining in.
Anyway my Daddy is searching for a job he has looked all over the country, and even out of the country, he has been looking for sometime now and we have all struggled. It is now that I remember what God has told me, and what promises he has made me. Just like all the other times, when I've needed him, he has been there.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understand. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Feat thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yeah I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

No matter where I go, or what happens as long as I lean on God and look to him he will take care of me. He made a promise, and I know I can always trust God to keep his word.
