Jul. 29, 2009 - Pippin Meets Sam
The title of this post may sound kind of weird, so let me explain. Several months ago... I really have no idea how long ago... my Mum told me I would be getting an e-mail from Narniagirl. I was thinking.... ok.... and then I got this e-mail from her that said she was looking forward to getting to know me better, and hoped that we could chat, and e-mail back and fourth. I figured, sure even though I thought her blog was childish.
I don't think either of us had any idea of what was to come. Our weirdness collaborated and from there things took off.
Narniagirl reminded me of Samwise Gamgee, and one day when we were talking about what hobbits we were most like she said, "I'm gonna call you Pippin." So I said, "If I can call you Sam." So since then that's what we've called each other. Hence the title.
When we first found out we were moving to Kentucky both Sam and I thought it would be a great time to meet each other seeing as how she lives right along the way.

Two days ago our motor home pulled up in front of their house, things have been crazy ever since.
So far we have written together, gone sight seeing together, talked together, laughed together....
it's been spindackular (this is a word we made up one day while chatting, it means better then awesome) (we actually made it up when we were talking about meeting each other) Today we have plans to do more sight seeing and I will get to meet Catey and Jocelyn, fellow writers from Kids of Faith.
