Aug. 10, 2009 - Horse Lover in Paradise

I knew when I first found out that I would moving to Kentucky that I would be right in horse country. That exciting horse happenings would take place very close to me, and that it would be way possible for me to start going to these things.

However the other day when I found out the World Equestrian Games would be held in Lexington next year I went crazy.

For those of you who need a little background info, The World Equestrian Games have always been held in England and England only. So it's not just any World Equestrian Games that are going on next year. It's the first World Equestrian Games being held out of England. The World Equestrian Games themselves are for those at the top of their game. The riders and horses who have gone beyond all else.

Events that take place during the games are Dressage, Eventing, Driving, Jumping, Vaulting, Reining, Endurance, and Para Dressage.

This horse lover was in heaven until she realized the price of tickets... maybe I could volunteer? The only problem with that is I'm old enough. *sigh* Oh well, I'll just have to start saving now.

Oh so that is the show being held in Kentucky...I guess I was wrong! =) I wish we could go together! That would be so much fun!

I write a lot of different stuff. I really like historical stuff, and I'm working on a historical novel (my first novel). I also like to write stories that I'm not sure how to describe. They sort of take place in their own time, and in their own "world", but I don't know how I would classify those.... I read a lot of classics, so I guess my writing style would fit in there somewhere. I have some modern-day stories that I'm working on too. I also write some short stories (mostly historical).

What do you like to write?

That would be so awesome to go! We never think of the price of our dreams to we?...... dreams are very expenzive.

Henry Pickle will still be the star of issue 2! Dont worry! The next issue should come out in a week or two, dont despair! I will tell you when you issue 2 has been completed! In issue 2 we'll have some quotes, a short story, Henry Pickle( ofcourse!), an animal report and more!
