I found this book very helpful and encouraging. The author does not talk as if you already have a big fat paycheck coming in like a lot of other writing books. On the contrary he has written for people who don't have a dime to their name.
By the end of the first chapter I was ready to start writing my screenplay. One thing I did not like however was the language he chose to use. This is directed towards children, but I don't think a lot of the words he used were acceptable for children. However I would recommend this book not just to young teens interested in writing screenplays, but to young teens interested in writing anything. View all my reviews >>
