The Army Base

I dont know if you know this But we live near an army training base. (when I say near I mean our fences end at their fence). well today we have been hearing Massive Thundering sounds. The sound like thunder. We could hear a low thundering boom and then we could hear something whistling throught the air and then there would be a massive Cracking booming thundering sound. which was cool. The other day also we saw a Jet fighter flying around in Puckapunyal (which is the name of the army base). We watched the horizon as it circled around and came silently up until it was over our heads and then, all of a sudden, we could hear a great roaring of jet engines. it would then fade away into the distance. Three times this happned and the third time it came so low that it almost looked as though it had just taken off.
Anyway when it had so-called "taken off" we heard after a while the thunder of Bombs or rockets colliding with the earth. and that was also cool now there is this thing I wanna test out
hmm it didn't work oh well

Which template were your asking opinion on? The first or "second"? The first was good, the second, no good.
