We're home! Ya know, it might help if I tell you where we went. We went to a place, just about 1 or 2 hrs from here, that has an indoor water park! It was so much fun! If you go to the water park, then you have to stay in their motels, it comes with it. So, the water park closes at 10pm. We were in the motel at about 9:15pm, and the fire alarm went off! We went outside, and we were walking, then another family came outside. So we walked with them. They had 3 little girls with them, one maybe 7 or 8, the other maybe 5, and one 2 or 3. And the one that might have been 5 left her teddy bear inside their room, so she was crying, and the littlest one cried because the noise, and the older one tried to get them to calm down. So then, we smelled smoke. And the dad of the girls said, "Why are we going toward the smoke?" So we turned around and hurried that way. We saw some people that worked their run to where we smelled the smoke. Then we went down to the lobby. (We were one the 3rd floor, we went down the stairs.)
Mommy thought she would email her sisters and brother while she had internet. And she said we were in a burning building. Then Daddy and Brown sat down, and 2 people came up to him and asked him what was going on. Then I saw two firemen go upstairs! (I've never seen a real fireman in real life!) Then the other men left that were talking to Daddy. Then I went over to Daddy and said, "I've never seen a fireman before!" And he said, "Those weren't firemen, there were just staying in the motel!" He didn't see the firemen, and was talking about the other guys. Then a women that worked there ran and said, "Everybody exit the building!"
Then, with the other family, we went to another motel that was owned by the same people, and stayed there. And while we drove by, we saw all the people that were in the water park, standing outside with wet bathing suits on! At the other motel, the dad said to get blankets to bring to the people outside, and I think by that time, they let them come into the lobby. I don't know. When we walked in the building, Mommy was talking to Grandmama, and Mommy said, "There's a roaring fire in here." And Grandmama said, "What?!" And Mommy said, "No, I mean there's a fire in the fireplace!" But we were talking to the other family, and she said she homeschooled her kids! She said everybody over there was homeschooling because it was a weekday. And not many people were there.
But, we did have a lot of fun! They had a wavepool, 3 waterslides, 2 playground things for smaller kids, and a surfing thing. One of the slides was dark, the other was light, and one, (the best one) was so cool! You had to have at 2-4 people with you. They put you in an inflatable thing, and you would go down. And the first time, Brown, Daddy and I went down together, and I had to go down backwards! I had to look around to see where we were going! Daddy said, "This isn't so bad!" Then we turned, and then I looked around, and I only saw the wall of the tube! Then, I went down! Then it brought us out into a big place that would spin you around, and go up and down! But it was fun! We went on it 5 times. On time, a girl asked if we liked it, then asked us if we wanted to go on it with her. And we did. Then we went down the dark thing together, then we got in the wavepool. She told me her name, but I forgot it about a minute later. I don't remember names.
But we had a fun time!!!! And Murphy was happy when we got home! And I don't think the fire was bad at all, but a lot of firetrucks came. I think they said an electrical wire overheated.
