Kids go through the funniest stages when they are learning language. I get such a chuckle out of beginning mispronunciations of words, syntax misuse, and just the ramblings of toddlers.
Most recently, we have found that our 2 yo will answer Yes to any question. We ask her ridiculous questions, to hear her answer sincerely yes, just to give ourselves a chuckle. (We really need to get out more.) Here is source of our evening laughter.
-
Do you have a stinky diaper? Yes (she didn't)

-
Are you finished with supper? Yes (she ate for another 15 min)

-
Would you like to take your shoes off? Yes (she didn't have them on)

-
Is your hair green? Yes (what do you think?)
-
Are you a monkey? Yes (there are probably some evolutionists who think this is possible)

-
Do you want ants crawling on you? Yes
(hmm...she might actually think that to be fun) -
Can you do a cartwheel? Yes (what's a cartwheel?)

-
Are your shoes on fire? Yes (remember, she isn't wearing shoes)

Out of the mouths of babes!
