Action!

Time for the action shots...

In this first one, I had Alison jump up the ladder to the monkey bars, and pull up her knees to make it look really high. I took quite a few of this kind, but I think this one is best... (it kind-of looks like she has her hair in a crazy bun. )

In this next one, I unfortunately cut off her head but I still think it was neat.

If you look closely, you can tell that her one hand isn't even holding on yet... Scary!

I got quite a few with the ball way up there, and one of them even had the ball in the basket (it took a little while to find it...) but I chose this one. No special reason...

So now you can all go and take some pictures that are better. :-)

Thats strange, does it show up in the pics or just when your taking them?

Why would you take a break?

Amy,
Thanks for your question. I personally have not tried to die wool yet, and so I have no advice. :/ I ended up using some fuzzy yarn the color I wanted. (It was a variegated yarn with red, light brown and black. I just cut out the sections I wanted.)
I hope you're able to find a way that works! When you do, let me know :)

Blessings,
-Breezy
P.S. I have a new art print in my Etsy shop.

Friday, February 13, 2009 - Hello Amy!

Hi Amy! It was so nice to hear from you! Yes, of course I remember you! You are one of my favorite people on HSB!

How have you been doing lately? Are you still working on school? I loved the pictures on your last blog-post. Very fun!

A friend made my template for me. Thanks for the compliment! I think it's pretty neat too. (:

And your template--I don't remember seeing it before! I love it. Did you make it yourself? It's very cute--and I think it fits you wonderfully!

Is there anything new with you? We finally found a house in Indiana and have been here for 4 months....it's beautiful! My Mummy dearest is going to have another baby in July--that'll make number 8--we are SO blessed!

We have a goat living here right now getting ready to have a baby. Her name is Fudge (she's brown and very cute). I expect shes going to have it tonight, and I'm expecting at least two--maybe three. She is HUGE! The other day she got out of the "birthing stall" and into the horse pasture--not a good thing because she is so near having her babies. ): Thankfully she is OK and her owner is not concerned.

Let's see--I have to tell you everything! All of the other animals are doing great. I've stopped milking our two dairy goats because they will be having babies in April sometime. It's not good to milk to them too long after they are pregnant--we miss the milk, but it's worth seeing all this new life around the farm!

Tomorrow my little sisters are going to a valentines party--goodness are they looking forward to it! Last night they made up a list of things to do today to make it come quicker! They are so sweet.

All three of the toddlers are asleep right now. It is unusually quiet in the house--tis nice! Mom and dad had to run up to the bank. When they get back we'll all eat dinner. Mom made a yummy chicken soup.

I am looking forward to the time when we can plant our garden. I'm growing pretty much all the herbs this year. I have my garden set up all drawn out and dad has his garden set up spray-painted to the grass outside. (: I really can't wait. I am planning on growing a couple of herbs that grow flowers called "sweet rocket" and "forget-me-not". You can use the petals to put into a salad--wouldn't that be beautiful!? I love salad, and I'm looking forward to trying petals this summer. *Smile*

I'm reading a really good book right now by Grace L. Hill. She is my favorite author--her books are wonderfully God honoring and so encouraging. The people in her books are wonderful roll models and love Jesus. We need more authors like her!

Well, Amy, I better get going. The geese are standing on the back porch and knocking at the window. They want inside--crazy birds.

I hope you have a great night, and it was WONDERFUL hearing from you again!

Love, Tessa

Good job on your photos! I'm glad you are enjoying your camara. Anna was just saying Sunday that too bad you weren't with us at the Conservatory - she thought that for sure you would have loved to take photos there. I esp. like your photo with the basketball in the air.

Thank you for the sweet Happy Birthday song. How did you get the music notes to show?

Have a great day!!!

Thank you for your comment! If you are interested, my username on CrochetMe is Miss Eyebright, and on Ravelry, MissEyebright. That way you can find me.

Action shots are fun to take, but I don't seem to take very many of those. Wait...on second thought, maybe I do!

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Amy, thanks so much for visiting my blog! I'm sure the "wrapping" part of the dolls is a bit tedious, sorry. But please know I am so excited about giving these as gifts and can't wait to see the girls faces when they get them...they'll love them. I'll be sure and get pictures and do an entry at my place after giving them in April. Hope your having a wonderful weekend, Julie

Sorry I'm just now getting over to your blog to respond to you. We have been having router issue problems and I've been busy the past couple of weeks. Anyway, I just got my graphics pad and haven't used it to make graphics yet, but I have used it to make a few things, just not graphics. I do make my own graphics for my blogs and would like to play more with it if I had the time. I like your graphics, very nice. What program do you use? I use Paint Shop Pro V9.0. It's pretty nice, still getting use to it, but I like it. :)
