The day's happenings
Today we tried to get most of our school done in the morning, because we were going to the park and library in the afternoon. And mom had to go to Walmart this morning so we did school without her. Even though I did get all my school done, I must admit that I spent alot of time taking pictures too. One of my favorites is this one of Alison. :-) I won't post any of the ones she took of me. I have a good excuse too -- they were all of my brushing my hair. LOL! (yes, I know what you are thinking: "Weren't you supposed to be doing school???" ) Its amazing how many destractions you can find when you are supposed to be doing school...
We had great fun at the park! (at least I did!) When we first got there, passionforpurple, cherryblossom, brandon, and another friend of ours were all geocashing. We went and looked with them, but they gave up. :-) Well, I didn't do much looking--I was too busy taking pictures of the flowers. (of course) The park we went to today didn't have very many veriaties of flowers, but the park really close to us has quite a few different ones! We went there yesterday, and while mom watched Emily and Betsy played, I ran off to the walking trail and took pictures. I might get around to posting them someday... (along with the other hundreds of pictures... Maybe I shouldn't take so many pictures that I'd want to post...)
After the park, we went over to the library and I got three photography books, By the Great Horn Spoon! by Sid Fleischman (no, I can't spell that from memory--I had to look at the book. LOL!) and three math books. (I surprised my mom!!! ) Two of the math books were too easy, (that is what I get for not looking at the while we were still at the library...) and the photography books just make me want to go somewhere with LOTS of little kids and flowers, but I like them anyway.
One of the reasons that I wrote a post with so few pictures (I can't believe I actually only put in three!!!!) is that Alison just gets soooo excited when I "post text", so I thought I'd let her get excited for a little while. She'd BETTER leave me a comment!!! *hint hint alison* But, I suppose its not a bad thing to post alot of text... In fact, it was kind-of fun! Maybe I'll do again soon. *thinks about it* |

But your pictures are gorgeous, I love how you edited them in the last entry :) What are the photography books about?? Apart from the obvious...
