New bedroom arrangement
Ev er since we got bunk beds, I've always slept on the top, and I've thought that it might be nice to have a bed bed. Whatever that is... :-) We've rearranged our room quite a few times but with a fan in the middle of the r oom and bunkbeds, you can't do much because the person on the top might get their head chopped off. LOL! So yesterday, Alison decided that it was time to rearrange the room. So we switched the place of the dresser and bed around. But I didn't like it that way and so I suggested that we take the beds apart and put one on each side of the room with the dresser in the middle. This resulted in lots of measuring to see if it fit. (Alison measured. I had already don e that a while back and new it would work) So we attempted to pull the beds apart, (After taking off my mattress) and after much grunting, pulling, pushing and groaning, we finally got it apart! We very stupidly forgot to take before, and in the progress pictures... But I did take after pictures as you can see. We are soooo happy with our new arrangement! We don't have quite as much room, but we still have plenty... I'm finding that spend more time in our room now... I am spending more time in my room, too, but I think it is because, we now have a desk in our room, right under the window. I love it! We also plan to hang curtains over the closet, re-upholster our chair, and make a "reading nook", all in our little bedroom! Actually, everything is in place already, we just need the material. We do plan on posting pictures, as soon as everything is done.
