Dentist

UUUUUGGGGHHH!!! This morning, I was playing around with my camera, a,nd I accidently deleted (yes deleted) EVERY picture on the camera card!!! There were about 9 folders of pictures on there... Oh well. Things like that happen! So I immediatly started taking pictures again. :-) And today was a great day for that, because...

...Alison got braces!!! I was supposed to get something else that they call "appliances" (ovens? Stoves? Refrigoraters??? LOL!) But one of the impressions didn't work out, so I had to do a new one today. :-p. Actually they aren't that bad as long as you only do the lower one. The mold of your top teeth is just horrendis! (so is that spelling! LOL!) So, sorry if you have to get molds made soon. :-) But anyway, since my teeth are moving so fast, and coming in so fast, the dentist changed his mind again (I think this was about the 3rd time) on what he was going to do. :-) So in a couple of weeks, I get braces on the top, and this "appliance" on the bottom. And then a couple of weeks after that he pulls teeth... :-p.

But anyway, Alison got braces today. I think she looks great in them! Since the whole process took about 2 hours, I entertained myself with talking to one of the nurses who was cleaning up a room, and find out all about everything in the office. :-) Its the cheap way to learn dentistry. LOL! Quite a few of the nurses asked me if I wanted to be a dentist or a dentist assistant, because I was asking so many questions, but I told them, "no, I want to be a stay at home mother". :-)

Hi Amy!
I like Alison's new glasses, she picked them out herself? LOL Just joking, Do you always have glasses put on at the dentsist? Or only for stuff like that? We don't, but then again the only thing I have had done at the dentistis baby teeth pulled. LOL What color did she pick out?
Well, here it is sunshining and snowing, lol And the snow is sticking!! aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! Right when it started melting! Oh, well, it probably won't stay long....although South Dakota got 6 inches, I think.
Well, better go. So what day are you getting your braces put on?

Amy, What did the nurse say when you said you wanted to be a stay at home mother? Was she suprised? People are really suprised when I tell them that. Tell Alison congrats! I bet you will look great in braces to! And also, sorry about your pics!

Wow! She does look nice in braces. =) I can't wait 'til I get mine off... sometime around the end of June!! We have to make sure that my overbite gets fixed, first, though. I have to wear rubberbands and they're so annoying because I take them out to eat and brush my teeth, and I always forget to put them back again.

I had braces for two or three years. I also had to have rubber bands that pulled my teeth a certain direction. I had little rubber bands everywhere, for several years after I had my braces taken off!

i have had braces since i was 9 years old! i've had a herspt, rubberbands, etc.....

herspt= a big hinge in your mouth to help overbite. (horible thing to get)

I usally get the pretty teal color they have, but monday i got green.(For earth day, Go Green!) i am hopefuly gettting my braces off soon. I had the herpst for 9 months and when they took it off (last year in jan?)they gave me a three month break on braces! Yeah!
