Potatos are my favorite vegetable to haverst. It so fun to find them hidden beneath all that dirt. And of course you have to be dressed appropriately for this - I was wearing a non to fashionable apron to keep my white top and pink skirt clean, with bare feet and my hat. Along with the tomatos the potatos did really well - producing huge ones...

A regular store bought potato is about two pounds, our biggest ones were two and a half pounds.
Then we moved on to trying to find the onions - lost in all the weeds. But they didn't do as well, we had moved our garden to a different spot because this is our 7th year of gardening and we're giving our normal spot a sabbath. So we found only one regular size onion and the rest of them we're about the same size when we planted them!! But over all it went pretty good and that day we had to wash the dirt off from our toes to our knees and our fingers to our elbows before we were presentable for lunch!
Now it's snowing....

(I'm doing two pictures in one - showing the snow and progress on our sauna building). So far whenever the snow falls it melts away again, but it probably won't be long before it sticks. And by the way, about the sauna - Dad's got the siding done on the back wall and working on the others. We've got a nice little loft, but now it's rather to cold to enjoy it! I'll post a picture that you can see more later!
Hope this is finding you all well! My sister and I are a bit sick but I'm being positive and praying we will get better quickly!
God Bless,
Amber
