New Orleans vacation May 2005
In May of 2005, we decided to visit
New Orleans. With an aspiring musician and another child with a
passion for WWII and the military, we thought New Orleans would be a
great field trip. It was! We visited the D-Day Museum and
explored the French Quarter -- eating and listening to music. There was
much that we wanted to do, but decided to save for another visit.
That was before Katrina. We would have liked to have
made it back to help with clean up, but it turned out to not be a
possibility for us. However, we do hope to return for another visit
sometime, and perhaps we can find a way to serve while we are there.

| Liberty sums up so many of the objectives and goals we hold as a family that we have chosen to adopt the Wallace clan motto "Pro Libertate" as OUR motto. Of course, it helps that our surname just happens to be Wallace.
