I just want to encourage you with your first year of homeschooling. Last year was ours (2nd and 3rd grade).
I won't say it was easy it was full of trials and figuring out what we liked and didn't like.
Give yourself and your kids lots of grace! I am looking forward to our 2nd year with new curriculum, a new outlook and one year under our belt.
