-Costume Research Post -
These gowns are so beautiful you can not help, but enjoy them even if you have not yet seen the movies…so please vote on the era that you like best even if you have not seen the movies. Thank you

Scarlett O'Hara Marguerite St. Just Charlotte Selton
Gone With The Wind 1861-1865 Scarlett O'Hara
Of course this movie takes place during the Civil War…and Scarlett’s Costumes are some of the most Famouse Movie Costumes ever designed. All of her gowns will be shown... along with other costumes from the movie.
The Scarlet Pimpernel 1789 Marguerite St. Just
This movie takes place during the French Revolution. Margerite’s Costumes are gourgouse and there are so many gowns that this post will surely be most intriquing. I will also include Susan's Costumes...
The Patriot 1776 Charlotte Selton
This movie takes place during the American Revolution…Stunningly beautiful colonial gowns a total of at least 10 styles and Anne’s gowns will also be featured…so really this will be two research posts in one.
How the Post Works: If you have not voted before here are the rules...please pick your favorite and then comment with the results and the winner of the votes will be who the costume research post will be about. Please note that these posts will be my own notes and research...and maybe some costume tips or two...I'm really looking forward to this post..so please vote.
Thank you very much for reading........
(please note that the post will be all the gowns...not just the ones pictured)

Hi Brielle!
No, my avatar picture is not of me, it is of Eowyn, although I must say, in that shot she bears a strong resemblence to me.
You like fasion designing as well? Cool. I haven't gotten to make any of my designs, I'm actually designing for my nextdoor neighbor, who is attempting to start a bussiness making clothes for people 5' 4" and under.
Commenting on the dresses you have on this post; I like all the dresses, but I would have to say that Scarlet's is my favorite.

I like Charlotte Selton's dress! But the chest part is too low. Anyways, do you seel the costumes you make? Do you make a living off of it? If you do or don't it's a good idea, your costumes are beatiful. Did you make the Arwen gown too? You are a very talented person!
I'm looking forward to your next entry. So what are your brother's names? Thanks for the comment you left me!

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing..If I ever become a movie director I'll come to you first to ask. And if I ever do...I would make a movie in New Zealand, I am very fond of that island, thanks for the commment! But yeah, it's kind of funny isn't it?
So how much are your costumes? Well, what is the average price for them? Man, I'd love to buy one if I had enough money, they are so pretty, of course non of them would fit me but I could save it for directing! So is the pirates of the caribbean:dead man's chest gown something that Elizabeth wears? Or is it a male? Well whatever it is. It's going to be really nice! You're very talented, sorry I had to say it again, it's just the truth and no one can lie about it. How many costumes have you made already?

Hi Brielle,
Sorry it took me so long to comment back. You'll understand why if you read my entry. I don't have much time to write this time, so I'll have to close this comment.

Hey Brielle, I think your Tia Dalma dress is going to be amazingly awesomely cool! In Pirates of the Caribbean, Tia Dalma's outfit is my favorite of all of them. It will come out perfect! I love the way you make your dresses. Have you heard of Akiane? She is a very talented artist, she's 12. But everyone says she is the best painter in the world. I believe that too, you should look up her paintings on the internet. Thanks for the long comment! I love long ones, short ones are just too....well, short. You sure did answer all of the questions I asked, just one more though, where is your catelog and when is it coming out? Well if it already came out then that changes everything! Thanks!
~Heather~
P.S. I like your costume of the month! We just watched that movie yesterday!

Hi Brielle,
I love your blog, the costumes you make are absolutely amazing. I love to make histroical costumes too, but I'm not half as talented as you are. I am planning on making Scarlett O'Hara's green barbeque dress. My vote is for Marguerite St. Just. I just adore all of her gowns.

Hello again Brielle, you have a beautiful name by the way, so thanks for the comment! I enjoyed reading it. Is Tia Dalma's dress almost finished? I'll have to look at your catelog. So did you look up Akiane's paint work yet? If you want I can e-mail it to you on Yahoo, or whatever else you use, well that's up to you lol. I hope you have a wonderful day too!
P.S. Oh and that dress you have down there, it says, think you know this dress? Send a note if you know...I think it's a dress that Rosie wears from the Lord of the Rings.
