Happy Birthday Amanda!

 After thinking of what kind of party to give you I decided to make use one of your favorite movies as a theme… so your “blog party” was inspired by the movie ….What a Girl Wants!

 The Location….    London!   A have reserved a lovely mansion for the weekend. Your friends and sisters will all be there to help celebrate….there are plenty of rooms for everyone.

Once the guests arrive and settle in the party can begin! Oh, don’t forget to change into your favorite formal gown…

 For the afternoon I have arranged manicures and pedicures for everyone and a fun shopping trip to some fashion boutiques to find some chic and pretty accessories….perhaps and armful of bangles or a pretty sash to match our formal attire.

       After such a shopping trip some fancy treats are in order….. here is what I made ….

       Fresh Fruit Smoothies

       Raspberry Brownies

and ….to finish it off …. a refreshing coffee drink of your choice served in the finest of silver…

Ahh….what next you ask? Well presents of course….

     Now lets see….looks like everyone has brought so many pretty gifts…oh,that one wrapped in silver…that’s from me. I got you a pink laptop! (well if I could that is what I would have got you….) so we can just pretend…

                       Well I hope you enjoyed your London Bash!

Thanks for the comment, I understand about not being able to get back to people, and not posting things when you want to, Ive blogged for a year and still not said things I want to.
THanks for your compliments, and It takes you a long time to make a cosume! But my dress took forever to get finished, I can't believe I undertook that as my first ( well, I had made a pair of Jammies for my brother) sewing project! What was I thinking.
That is ALOT of costumes!!! I would love to see pics of the Narnia play, but I totally understand about not having time, I have to post why one of these days,

Love the newest ones Brielle! The materials you chose are perfect.

And I do take graphic commissions. I make a lot of them for my friends or other people I know on message boards.

I don't know really know were I got them, but I looked up colonial gowns on the internet and I got to look at all sorts of gowns.
