-------------Capes and Cloaks-------------
Here are a few capes I have made for custom orders and other costume things. The cape styles vary slightly by the use of different hood silhouettes and designs.
Velvet Cape….

This is cape made of smooth black velvet and lined with burgundy taffeta. Perfect for an evening at the Opera or any other event that you want to wear something dramatic. The front closure is made of a silver button decorated with a black velvet center. To complete the dramatic look the long hood is accented with a burgundy tassel.
Brown Velvet cape coming soon!
Royal Capes….

These are made with a suede like black fabric accented with embroidery and lined in brilliant colors.
Narnia Capes…. These capes were inspired by the Narnia movie (newest version) and books.
Narnian Lion Capes were inspired by Peter’s shield....Shields are available for purchase. Cape features lion cape closures and a brilliant red lion on the back.
The Lucy style features embroidery down the front and a pretty cape closure.

Dickens Era Cape… This cape style was inspired by the capes worn during the early 1880’s also known as the “Dickens Era”. The cape is all one color with a heavier outer fabric and a matching silk style lining.
Wool Capes…The wool capes are an everyday cape. Perfect for reenactments or just wearing in winter weather. – Pictures coming soon!
Victorian Capes… The Victorian style cape features 2 small caplets and a square style hood. Embroidery decorates all edges… Pictures coming soon! Full Length cape.
Interested in purchasing a cape? Please write me a note or send an e-mail I would be happy to help you. I specialize in custom work so if you have an idea for a cape style just let me know.

Faces are a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Which gives me an idea! I should post some of the stuff I've learned, tips, etc. There are also some very helpful (and decent!) drawing books I should recommend that have helped me a lot. Still so much to learn!
BTW I think those capes are gorrrrrrgeous! ::loud shrill squeels:: Just too loverly for words!

I just love your capes! And yes, it was good to see the familiar Dicken's style there. :) I really like the royal capes too!
Thank you for the comment! Actually, our Ghost of Christmas Present was not in the cast photo because he was played by the same person who played Marley. It would have taken some editing to get them both in the same photo! ;)
Hope you have a great week!
Love,
~HannahElizabeth

Beautiful cpaes!!!!!!!! I want one! :D hehehe Wow, they are so pretty. :)
Yeah, I don't have the neckache anymore, but my allergies are reacting to the cold weather, and I had cold-like symptoms yesterday.
Thanks, me too. :)
Do you make any Christmassy gowns??
Merry Christmas!

LOL - to Rose colouring. How funny... but it can be tempting. I have a Cinderella barbie colouring book that I use to help me draw hands and faces and such. lol
I do love your ad. Very elegant and yet easy to read. I really do like it. What program do you use? Do you have one?
Missing you terribly - wish you were on IM...
love you

Hey!
Thanks so much for saying hi! By the way, I absolutely loved these cloaks!!! They look like they straight out of the movie! Beautiful!
As for National Treasure 2, I too saw that today. In fact, I just came back from it. It was very good, and I loved it, but I think I like the first one better.
Have a great day, and God bless!

I really like your capes, I want one really badly, but at the moment I am attempting to save up for a $1,200 lap-top, so it will most likely be a while before I get one.
When did you start learning how to sew? Your really good at it. Well I must go, as my family is having a Christmas party, and I really should be socializing,
farewell (I'm to lazy to look up the spelling for the elvish version)
~ Nimrodel
P.S. I added you to our friends list, I hope you don't mind.

Wow. I'm so in love with these cloaks....how long did it take you to make one of them? They're simply gorgeous! :-D
How did you do the embroidery on the Lucy cloak? Did you use a pattern or just free-hand it?
