I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas…
We had a very white Christmas and I couldn’t resist taking a few costume pictures in the snow. So I have posted a few photos of my Spanish Ball Gown, Black Velvet and my Brown Velvet Cape.

Here is a sneak peak of what costume research posts are coming…
January- Costumes at Sea: Horatio Hornblower costumes
February- Batman Costume: (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight)
February- Jazira’s costumes (From the movie Hidalgo)
These posts may take me a while to get done because there are not many images available online. So I am doing stills of the movie frames, thus is may take some time to get the ones I want, but I am hoping to get them all posted soon.

------------------ Oh, yes....here is a picture of my elf ears. -----------------------------

Slideshow Updates… Wondering what I’m working on?
Please look at my slideshow underneath the Costumes in Progress.

I can't wait to see what you will post for this next year. Lately, I have been looking at costumes, fabrics, sewing stuff, and I am starting to get that urge to sew again. We will see if I get there.
I agree with the people above me, the snow adds a beautiful note to the pictures.

I love this blog. All the cosumes and dresses are SO pretty! I would love to learn how to sew so I could make these costumes.
The pictures in the snow are very pretty. I have an old prom dress and I would love to take pictures like that sometime. I live in Minnesota so I have plenty of chances! :)

Ooohh, that Spanish ball gown (and the capes) look really beautiful with the snow as a background! We got some snow, but not as much as that. It was still really neat to have a white Christmas!
I'm really looking forward to seeing Susan's gown!

Wishing you a joyous 2008, may God bless you in the coming year!
That first photo is SO pretty! Thank you for posting more pictures of your dress, it's amazing. Your cape is very elegant as well. :)
I remember you mentioning a while back that you were going to get a set of the elf ears . . . they look so cute! I'm glad you got them. :)

I'm so sorry I haven't been by in quite a while. All the capes you made are just lovely as well as the snow pictures.
I hope to be back soon but we'll see with the crazy schedule I have. ;-)
Have a lovely evening.

The snow is so pretty. It makes a wonderful backdrop for your costumes. I am intrigued by some of the things listed as your "words in progress" especially the assassins coat and the gypsy costume. Please post pics!

Dearest Brielle
I hope you had a lovely day for your bday! I am so glad i could do *something* for you, though it was not much. I'd much rather have been there with you, but ah well. ; )
I love your costumes... they are just beautiful, and every time I see them I feel I must tell you!
I was thinking... that perhaps I could reload this template (colours, images, etc) onto a three column template for you? It's up to you. Just a though.
Love you lots!
Jocelyn
