The Royal Castle Staff

-         The Herald

This costume was made to match the royal family colors and style, his hat is trimmed with an ostrich plum, golden mesh and a bejeweled medallion. The Jacket is made of a golden tapestry fabric and accented with royal buttons, navy blue pants and bootcovers complete the look.

-         The Footman

 This costume was also made to match the royal family, but it needed to look different the then herald’s costume. So we added white sleeves and a sparkly navy blue fabric accented with royal buttons. His hat is the same design as the Herald.

-         The Chef and Servants  

These costumes were made to be worn by the royal Chef and staff of the castle. The girl’s costumes consist of a sparkly purple apron with a fleur-de-le design, white shirt and black skirt. While the chef and other stewards wore chef coats, black pants and neckties accented with sparkly silver fleur-de-les.

-         The Slipper Pillow

I have included the slipper pillow in this section because it is seen being carried by the footman and other castle staff. It is made of a silky blue fabric that was also used to line the Prince’s cape. To hold the delicate glass slipper in place, a cushioned “safety strap” was used. The corners are accented with gold tassels. Thanks to my cousin for making this pillow!
