Leather Jerkin and Linen Tunic
This set of tunics was inspired by the outfit that Peter wore in Narnia; featured in the movie The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

The outer leather jerkin is made of 100% real leather dyed a brown burgundy color accented with hand sewn lacing details. It is fully lined in a brown cotton fabric.

All seams were flat felled or French seamed to achieve a nice smooth line.
More close up pictures...

The under tunic is made of real linen fabric that I dyed a stone blue and accented the sleeves and back neckline with bone buttons.

This tunic is accented with many seams and details that you can only see when viewed in real life and up close.

Interested in your own Narnia Inspired Tunics? Please contact me for details…

I can also do Edmund’s style of Tunics or designs featured in the Prince Caspian movie…who knows, I might have just what you are looking for.

Hello Brielle,
Thank you for the comment.
The jerkin and tunic turned out great! I wish I could have seen it all done! I'm sure Mr. B loved it. Michael makes a good Peter Pevenisie ("and you can take that to the bank, my dear children")
Love you,
Rebekah

Wow, That's great. I really like the under tunic (pretty color lol) I helped out when I was in a play to make vests like the top one, well they were the same material, they turned out nice, but Our sewing was not as neat, because it was just going to be covered up by fur (they were winky costumes for The Wizard Of Oz) Very lovely job Miss Brielle!

Hello Brielle,
Thank you for the comments.
Thank you for agreeing with me. =)
We have to start on those soon! At least in time for the next movie ;) I need to find the perfect linen! Even if I have to dye it that is fine.
Love you,
Rebekah

Thank you for your sweet comment. I am doing well, and I haven't worked on anything for a while. I did make a skirt a few weeks ago, right before my birthday, to wear on my birthday, but that is it. I can't wait for your next post, oh do post as soon as possible! =)
Luv,
Miss Kitty

Great, Thanks!!
I make mostly dresses and gowns from the Regency Era, Edwardian Era, and largely vintage 1920-1950s. I've been so lazy lately and haven't been posting any dresses on any of my blogs. lol :P That's something I'll do soon.
Do you draft all of those costumes you make? That's very cool :] My mother and I are learning how to draft...
Many blessings,
Grace

Hi I Love looking at the costumes you make, they are lovely.
I like to draw dresses I'm going to post a few of them on my blog sometime.when I'm older I a might make some of them, if I ever learn how to sew, my mom was going to have a neghbor teach me, but our sewing machine busted, and she can't find another to replace it.
