wow, those are fantastic! I like the purple one best:)

Oh I know! especially Millie's dress during the dance, that's what I wanted to dress like when I was little:)

As for quotes, the most popular one in this family is probably the part when Dorcas, and Sara..and maybe Eliza(can't remember who) throws snowballs with rocks in them at the guys. "Snowballs with Rocks in them! Oh those pore little dears...sobbin' buckets of tears.."

I love the pale pink and white. The two colors go together so well. I just wanted to let you know that the link in the upper left to the victorian jacket is broken. I noticed it as I was poking around.

Wishing you the best on your future projects.

Hello Dearest,
Thank you for the comment!

I love my bag! I had no idea you were making it for me! I was completely oblivious. I love it!

The capes look loverly, of course!
Oh, Dad and I (maybe mom) are going to the B&B sale, would you like to go with, because we will probably already be at Aunt Kathy's? Something to think about...

Love you,
Rebekah

12/30/2008 - ~ Hey There! ~

Posted by SincerelyAmanda at 22:05

It's been nice to hear from you in recent comments!
Sorry I've been so slow at responding.

The weather here is funny. It will get freezing cold and I'll have to pour hot water in the chickens' water buckets to melt the ice and then a week later it will be warm (60-70 degree weather during the day!).

Right now the temperature is nice. My sisters and I had a splendid girls' day out with our grandmother in which we got our hair done and then had a fancy lunch (or "high tea", rather) at her house. :-)

I'm working on knitting a purse now. I think I have just a few more inches to go before it is long enough to sew up.
Pretty soon I've got to pick up my books for college (for the 1st semester I'll be able to take all courses online, which cuts down on driving time).

Hope all is well with you!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

~Amanda~

Your costumes are so beautiful! It must be a real joy to be able to sew so well! I personally love being in plays, and I have a very large stash of costumes, and I'm always on the lookout for more interesting pieces to add to it!

Have a wonderful Day!!!
