Thinking of you and getting off my roller coaster long enough to stop in. Beautiful baby ... may God continue to work, and I know He will.
My oldest is turning 30 in a few days. 30 years ago today I was a very mixed up 18 year old girl. Today I am a 48 year old woman, and my oldest daughter is a picture of God's grace in my life. She's such an encouragement to my other children, and such a great example to them. I didn't deserve for God to be so gracious to me in the light of the many mistakes I've made. I remember thinking "Wonder what life will be like when she's 30, and I'm 48." Here we are. All I can say is that as we turn our lives over to Him, He is very, very gracious. Redeemer. Counselor. Restorer. Friend. He is so, so, so, so good.
Hi, I found your blog thru random blogger!
I have been reading your posts...its a sad thing that happened...but God is good, Reading thru your posts reminded me of a few verse...both are my personal favorites...
James1:2-4
Consider it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, Perseverance must finish it's work so that you may become mature and complete, not lacking anything.
2 Corinthians 12:10-9
And he said to me "My grace is sufficient for you, my strength is made perfect in weakness" Therefore I will gladly boast in my weaknesess that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities (weakness), in reproaches, in needs, in pursecutions, and distresses for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong.
Your grandson is beautiful, or should I say handsome!
God can do so much thru him! I will be praying for his future salvation, and that he will let God be the ruler, and king in his life...and not let satan have any strongholds.
I will be praying for you as well, its a hard road to travel, but in the end, it is a road well worth the traveling.
