For Today...
Outside my window...lovely sunshine, cold temps.
I am thinking...that I can't wait to get rid of this throaty cough I've had since Wednesday.
From the learning rooms...going through some recipes for Jenna to make for Life Skills, besides her other lessons.
I am thankful for...our new church home. I went to a ladies' function last Tuesday and met some really great women, very welcoming and friendly. Last night Jenna went to youth group and and enjoyed it so much. Ty is going to a men's outing next week and so, now, we have to get Jasper involved in young adults.
From the kitchen...left over lasagna for lunch.
I am wearing...I know it's late in the morning, but I'm still not quite up to par, so I schlepping around in my jammies.
I am reading...Bible; tossing around a couple of books on my list.
I am hoping...that my family (the girls, in particular) will be receptive to changes I make in our diets.
I am creating...nothing at the moment.
I am hearing...radio, Jenna doing something in the kitchen.
Around the house...not much today except homeschool and catching up on e-mails. Depending on my strength level, I might take some Alka Seltzer Plus and take a nap.
One of my favorite things...the color yellow.
A few plans for the rest of the week...to get WELL!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Hope you get to feeling better, Kim. I too am still sick, but not as bad right now. It's been since last Wednesday for me with this cough. I hope you're not getting the same thing. If so, get plenty of rest, lots of kleenex, and a cozy blanket to cuddle up in. I'll be praying that you get well very quickly. ;)

What an adorable pooch. The name really fits.
I think that's the first I've seen of her! Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes on "changing the diet" around home. I've been trying to do that here, too...with much fuss and fuming for my efforts. Hope things go better for you!
