For Today...
Outside my window...Grey and dreary. The doves are cooing so rain is in the forecast.
I am thinking...that I can't believe I'm about to turn 50!
From the learning rooms...much of the usual ~ American Gov't, Marine Biology, Life Skills; tomorrow Jenna will watch a DVD on the 'real' St. Patrick. It's really good, I had to watch it for a class a while back.
I am thankful for...my wonderful hubby who has spoiled me so much this weekend. I didn't cook at all!
From the kitchen...I'm HOPING I can find my recipe for Italian Sausage and Tortellini soup! I can't find it anywhere and I really have a 'taste' for that soup for tonight.
I am wearing...jeans, yellow and brown hoodie. I need to put on some socks, my feet are cold.
I am reading...Bible; a nutrition book.
I am hoping...that my girls will continue to grow stronger everyday in their faith and their love relationship w/Jesus.
I am creating...nothing at the moment. :-/
I am hearing...the radio.
Around the house...I need to up-date Jenna' homeschool planner.
One of my favorite things...hearing from far-away friends and family.
A few plans for the rest of the week...homeschool, a dinner outing w/some ladies from church, my 50th b-day(!!!!!), gym; attending the homeschool boys' basketball banquet - we have been invited as special guests! Go Saints!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

My girls! Mwah! Big Kiss!!

Hi! My name is Holly and I found your blog from an e-mail from The Old Schoolhouse. I live in North Dayton, OH. My children are 4 and 6, my dd is in K/1st this year. I was wondering if you have any advice about the homeschool convention. How do you navigate the vendor hall? How do you choose what seminars to attend? I haven't gone before, but would like to. Have you been? Sorry I am asking so many questions. I saw that you have been homeschooling for quite a while and I thought you might have some wisdom to share!
