The Simple Woman's Daybook ~ #28 ~ 3/30/09

Posted in The Simple Woman Daybook

For Today...

Outside my window...Beautiful, wonderful sunshine!  Still chilly, around 50*.

I am thinking...That I have a lot to do today.

From the learning rooms...Our usual homeschool schedule and subjects today.

I am thankful for...my brother got home from Hawaii safely.

From the kitchen...I'm leaning toward pork chops for supper.

I am wearing...jeans, heathered gold shirt, and my favorite torn up slippers.

I am reading...Bible; "Liberal Fascim," the "Home Tour Edition" of Country Sampler magazine.

I am hoping...that my mother's Dr's appt goes well on Thursday.

I am creating...a cleaner home.

I am hearing...the radio, Maggie's dog tags jingling as she trots past me.

Around the house...deep cleaning my oven.  :-/

One of my favorite things...Primitive decorating.

A few plans for the rest of the week...homeschooling, practicing Easter orchestra music, taking my mom to the Dr., possibly homeschool gym.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

This is my Grandma's, Bigmom's, 2nd McGuffey Reader; Dated 1896.
