The Simple Woman's Daybook ~ #31 ~ 4/20/09

Posted in The Simple Woman Daybook

For Today...

Outside my window...same ol' recording it seems...grey, dreary and rain.  HOWEVER...there is the addition of lovely green on the trees and shrubs.

I am thinking...that I hope my DH gets a new job SOON!  In case you don't know, he was laid off VERY unexpectedly last Tuesday.

From the learning rooms...1st day back from Easter Break.  Back to Bible, American Gov't, Composition, Contemporary Issue, Marine Biology, Nature Study and Life Skills.

I am thankful for...my husband.  So dedicated to us, his family.  Praying that he doesn't wear himself out trying to find a job.

From the kitchen...a fresh loaf of flaxseed bread!  Pasta w/homemade sauce and garlic bread for supper.

I am wearing...jeans, brown shirt w/white embroidery.

I am reading...back and forth between "Liberal Fascism" and "The Lucky One."

I am hoping...that my DH will find a job SOOOOOOON!!  And that the Lord will make clear to me what direction I need to go after DD#2 graduates from our homeschool in June.  I would like to do more speaking.

I am creating...a possible business plan for a possible new business.

I am hearing...my DH's car drive up the driveway coming back from an errand.

Around the house...homeschool, laundry, got my hair trimmed today!

One of my favorite things...met around 50 of my blog friends at the Midwest Homeschool Convention in Cinci this past weekend!!  WOW!!  So many people came up to The Old Schoolhouse booth to say 'hi' and tell us how much they love the magazine.  THANK YOU!  It was so much fun to meet everyone.

A few plans for the rest of the week...to keep my DH happy and calm; homeschool, gym (?), a gardening workshop, church.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Here's Jenna hard at work at the TOS booth in Cinci!

It was a blessing to meet you at the Convention, Kim! Thank you for sharing your heart with me. You encouraged me greatly.

Hey, if you are ever in Texas, I would love to meet with you again! :)

Much love,
Marsha

PS Your daughter is beautiful! Praying for your dh's job situation. Just means that God has some awesome plans for y'all-- can't wait to see what they are!
