For Today...

Outside my window...Beautiful sunshine, blue sky, green leafy trees.  Squirrels & birds doing their thing, the end-of-summer call of the locusts.

I am thinking...That I hope & pray that my DH gets a job soon so that we don't lose our home or cars.

From the learning rooms...Nothing at this time.

I am thankful for...Still having a home & cars, not missing a meal, that I am confident that the Lord is still on His throne & working on my behalf.

From the kitchen...Grilled cheese for lunch w/fresh cucumbers from my little garden & farm-fresh tomatoes.

I am wearing...Jeans, black shirt; a bracelet that my friend from Texas made for me.

I am reading...Bible, websites on starting a small business.

I am hoping...That the Lord works a miracle TODAY for my DH's job & that I won't lost my dream of my little business.

I am creating...I'm trying to maintain a happy, positive home.

I am hearing...Radio; the wonderful call of the locusts outside my window.

Around the house...Windows are open, lovely breezes wafting through.  DH is looking for a job, I'm going to scrub out the kitchen cupboards & do a sort of 'inventory' of what we have.

One of my favorite things...Family unity; laughing together & enjoying each other's company.

A few plans for the rest of the week...Praying, praying, praying; looking for a job, encouraging my family.

Kim, The Lord knows you are confident in Him. He's still on the throne! John and I are continuing to pray for you both. We have so many friends we know that are dealing with the same thing. They say things are improving and jobs are coming back - let's pray that come back here...and NOW!!

Hi Kim! I'm sorry to hear that your hubby still hasn't found a job. I'll keep praying for you guys and that he finds one soon. I too am on the hunt for a job...one that works with my hubby's odd schedule and my ability to continue to homeschool the girls. It seems there are a lot of people hunting for jobs now in an economy where they are scarce. Praying we all find what we need.
