For Today...

Outside my window...Lovely, lovely sunshine; unseasonably cool temps - this morning it's in the 50's, hearing the cicadas & songbirds.

I am thinking...that all mornings should be this lovely & peaceful.

I am thankful for...still having our home & cars while DH has been laid off since April.  Also, he had a GREAT interview on Friday & is waiting to hear back from the potential employer.

From the kitchen...just the morning's coffee so far, I haven't given lunch or supper a thought, yet. 

I am wearing...jeans & one of my many, comfortable hoodies.  Great on these cool mornings.

I am reading...the latest issue of "Country Sampler" magazine.  I've done so much 'heavy' reading this summer, I need some fluff.
 
I am hoping...that DH finds a great job SOON & that I can take the 1st steps in opening an 'arm' of my business soon.

I am creating...a heart atuned to hear what God wants me to do next.

I am hearing...cicadas & songbirds outside the open windows, occasional passing traffic, radio.

Around the house...peaceful morning; DH is off taking a job skills test, DDs are up-stairs doing their morning 'stuff' before they come down for the day.  DD#1 works long, odd hours & DD#2 is enjoying her last bit of her post-homeschool graduation before she starts a job - so I don't mind them dalying & taking some time for themselves.  And, w/a little time alone this morning I can get some thoughts together & up-date my blogs.  :-)

One of my favorite things...Spiced Chi Latte' from "Ooh La La's" at Lakeside, Ohio!

A few plans for the rest of the week...House cleaning, glycerine soap making, praying for direction.

I like using Photobucket to post pics. Just upload them there, then copy the 'direct link' and post it into your blog. Works like a charm and don't have to worry about space. ;)
Glad your hubby had a great interview!! I sure hope he gets the job! That would be awesome...especially after all the waiting and prayers on your guys' part. I'm also praying your business plans work out. It sounded awesome when you talked to me about it last week! I went past Forest Rd/Rt. 41 the other day on the way out to The Barn and completely forgot to look for that place you mentioned (I wanted to see it). lol!! Maybe at the next Newton game (all are played at The Barn this season due to school construction or something in P-Hill). That would be so cool to be able to go to your lil country store, literally right up the road from my parents' place on the edge of Troy (King's Chapel, by Meijers)!! I'll be praying for ya!!
This certainly has been a cool summer alright. I feel like I missed it...completely bypassed summer weather and went to fall. :( Some of the trees are even changing already...don't know if you've seen any near you changing yet too. I'm so disappointed. I'm hoping we'll have REAL summer weather again next year instead of this elongated Spring, nice though it was. Just can't get over these messed up seasons we're having. Global warming...yeah right.
