For Today...

Outside my window...Lovely, gorgeous sunshine & heavenly cool temps. It got down into the 40's last night/this morning & it was so cozy to be under warm quilts in a cool, breezy room. Ahhhh!

I am thinking...That I love sweater weather & I'm ready for Fall.

I am thankful for...Still having a home, cars & food on our table even though DH is still laid off; that DD#2 got her 1st real job that she starts this week! Also, someone FINALLY stepped up to take over the county homeschool support group that I ran for 11 years. PTL!

From the kitchen...made tortilla soup for lunch, will probably have the left-overs for supper.

I am wearing...jeans &...in honor of the cool weather...my favorite yellow Lakeside hoodie! '-)

I am reading...between books right now.

I am hoping...that DH gets a job THIS WEEK!!

I am creating...a Fall house! I've gotten out my Fall decorations & have been putting them up today. Happy Sept. 1st! :-)

I am hearing...birds singing, traffic going by, radio & a distant lawn-mower.

Around the house...Fall decorating.

One of my favorite things...the cool 'sweater weather' temps of Fall.

A few plans for the rest of the week...laundry, household cleaning, making a batch of glycerine soaps.
