For Today...
Outside my window...the dark of night.
I am thinking...that I hope the possible temp job DH may start will be a good one &, if so, that it may turn into a permanent job.
I am thankful for...still having our home, our cars & 'enough.'
From the kitchen...had a chicken & biscuit casserole.
I am wearing...long khaki skirt, olive green "Autumn" long-sleeved t-shirt.
I am reading...I've been thinking of re-reading Tracie Paterson's "Yukon Quest" series.
I am hoping...that things work out for my DH's job & that the Lord will work a miracle w/the store I want to open!
I am creating...floor plans for the store...in faith.
I am hearing...crickets, tree frogs; the dryer & the T.V.
Around the house...DH is watching a football game, DD#1 just texted me to say that she's going out to get something to munch on w/some work friends since they worked the late shift tonight, DD#2 is reading in her room, I am trying to see to my badly neglected blogs! Sorry.
One of my favorite things...my homemade laundry detergent. Isn't that funny?
A few plans for the rest of the week...Prayer, prayer, prayer for DH's possible new job (after being laid off since April), the possibility of the store, family. Taking my mom for a pre-minor surgery physical on Wednesday; taking DD#2 to/from her new pt-time job.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
Here's a peek at the POSSIBLE store I have looked at to POSSIBLY start my bulk food store...PRAY W/ME, WILL YOU?!

Can't you just SEE a bulk food store in here?!?!

I sure hope that your hubby's temp job works out to be permanent. When my hubby and I first got married, the job he first had was a 'temp' one and turned into a permanent one too. So, yes, it's always possible!! I'll be prayin' for it for ya! Also, the store looks awesome!! Yep, I can soooo see you there!! Prayin' for ya! ;) Hugs!

Hi Kim! I'm actually looking for a recipe for homemade laundry detergent. I can get by using store-bought in the summer months, but I need to find something that will work year-round with my daughter's detergent allergies. In the winter months, it's so much worse. I've been searching for an answer since she was a toddler and we first realized it was soap/detergent causing the problem. I never even thought of making my own. Would you be willing to share how you make it and where I can buy the supplies? I would be so, SO appreciative!
