For Today... Outside my window...beautiful sunshine; woke up to temps right around 40. I love Fall. I am thinking...that I hope this temp job my DH has gotten will turn into full-time w/GREAT pay. I am thankful for...The beautiful day; the Lord's provision, mercy & grace. From the kitchen...just coffee for breakfast; going to make a very small grocery run to see what I'll make for lunch & supper. I am wearing...jeans & a 'heathered' brown & gold hoodie (Yes! It's hoodie season again!). I am reading...re-reading the "Yukon Quest" series by Tracie Patterson. I am hoping...the same thing I'm 'thinking'. '-) I am creating...a peaceful home. I am hearing...the radio, birds outside my window. Around the house...taking DD#2 to work, doing someone's late homeschool assessment, grocery, laundry & other Monday chores. One of my favorite things...smelling someone's fireplace smoke on a crips fall evening. A few plans for the rest of the week...tomorrow is our 25th wedding anniversary!!!!!!! A little bittersweet this year...& I KNOW I'm being totally selfish...but w/DH having been laid off since April we can't do anything for this momentous, happy occasion. :-/ BUT...we do have each other & we are still in love; that's the important thing.
