For Today... Outside my window...Lovely, crisp fall morning. Sunshine but colder temps. Gorgeous leaves falling & blowing across the yard & driveway. I am thinking...about things I need to do. I am thankful for...a generous local frig repair man who had to come back out this morning & didn't charge me for it b/c he knows my DH had been out of work for 6 months. God bless him! From the kitchen...a frig w/ice! :-) Peanut butter/jelly on homemade bread for lunch, probably pasta & sauce for supper. I am wearing...jeans, black slip-over shirt, camel-colored cardigan. Look! No hoodie on a Monday morning! roflol!! I am reading...still reading the "Yukon Quest" 3-books-in-1 book. Got side-tracked but I'm back to it now. I am hoping...for miracles! I am creating...a peaceful home. I am hearing...the radio. Around the house...both DDs are off work today! They stayed up late last night catching up from their weeks - I could hear them talking & laughing (a wonderful sound) until late/early - so I'm going to let them sleep as long as they want. That doesn't happen much these days & I just enjoy knowing that they're in the house. One of my favorite things...a cozy house, a cup of hot coffee in hand, lounging on the couch or love-seat while watching a DVD w/my family. A few plans for the rest of the week...laundry, taking DD#1 to work/home, taking my mom to the eye Dr for a post-op check-up. Making re-fills of laundry detergent, toothpaste, dish washer detergent...several things have run out all at once. Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
