• May. 31, 2007 - Another Summer Adventure

Hello. I  caught a black  stinging   caterpillar  about   1 and a half  weeks   ago. He made  a  cocoon,  which makes  a moth. A  chrysilis  makes  a butterfly. He  is  black,  white,  and orange. These pictures are of the same moth. Does anyone know what type it is? I also  went  boat  riding.  We saw  a lot  of  alligators.   There  was  one  that  was on  a log.    I  have  a picture.    The   green  on  him  is  algae.  There  was  another one  that  ran  off  the  bank  and  into the  water.   There  were  so many.   I don't  think  I can  name  them  all .   This is an alligator in the water: There  was  a part  of  the  bayou  where it  dropped  into  a big  ditch.   It  drops 5 or 6  feet. It is a dam.    Their  was a snake by  the  drop. When  I  was  cutting  the grass  I saw  a toad  by  the swimming pool. I  found   2  more  by  the  tree  house.   I  don't  have  a picture .
