Aug. 29, 2006 - Help! I'm a night owl trapped inside an early bird's body!
I am SO tired and it is only Tuesday. And it's all your fault! Yes, I am talking to all of you bloggers. I have stayed up way too late every night for the last week reading everyone's pages. I can't help it! I have found so much encouragement here and I have learned new things, and I have laughed and cried. I just have to find time to check on everyone earlier in the day, because unfortunately, my one year old son doesn't care that I was up until 1AM connecting with other moms. 
He still gets up at 6AM regardless.
I only have one month left to get my routine back in shape. Friday school at First Class starts the end of September and chapel is at 8:30 in the morning. That means I have to have myself and 7 kids ready to walk out the door at 8AM. EW!! But, I really am excited about it and so are my kids. Last night there was a homeschool resource fair at a local church and my husband and I went to check out things being offered for homeschooling families. I was glad to see someone trying to start up a volleyball team, as my 8th grade daughter loves to play. First Class had a booth there and the best part of the evening was meeting Heidi St. John. She is just as sweet and beautiful in person as she is on her blog, and she was very patient with all of my questions. 
I hope you all have a great week and you know someone out there really appreciates you. Whether you know me or not, chances are I have visited your blog and was very touched in some way. You are all such a blessing to me. Thank you!

Isn't God good with bringing encouragement into our lives just when we need it? I really appreciated you stopping by and posting on my blog the other day. Life has been too busy to reciprocate until now. I do appreciate the continued prayers as we work to build our home... Lord know we need all the help we can get! I'll definitely stop by often and hope you'll do the same.

Aren't those 1yos a picky lot when it comes to sleeping in after a long night of blogging? Mine is the same way. Doesn't he understand that staying up to all hours makes me a better mom (but only if he'd let me sleep in)?

Okay so NOW I can put a "face" to this blog!! Nice of you to stop by my blog the other day and share in my mess :) It was very good to meet you at CCHE the other day. I'm so glad you're coming to Friday School! You'll be glad you are coming.
I can relate about the night owl thing. It's the only time of day it's quiet! Well then and 6am. It's always one or the other for me.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at Friday School registration on Sep 11th :) This is going to be fun!!
