Notions of a Texas Ranch Girl

You know you are a procrastinator when...

... the time changes, and when you get in the car on Sunday morning you realize you don't have to "spring forward" because you never changed the time from six months ago.

I've been putting off writing this blog for four days now, but I guess four days isn't bad compared to my usual procrastination. But hey, my taxes are done.

Jerry was sick the first Sunday of spring forward so I went to church by myself. Could not for the life of me figure out why the parking lot was jammed full 15 minutes before time for church to start. Most Sundays it doesn't fill up until about five til. Went inside and door to sanctuary was closed, church already in session. Didn't get it. Did I miss something? Was this a special Sunday? Couldn't find an empty seat at first but finally did. Place was packed. Still didn't get it. Sermon I could tell was winding down. Suddenly it came to me. Oh what a dope. Any way I did hear a few minutes of sermon.

Thats too funny, exactly what happened to me 1 1/2 years ago, so I actually arrived an hour early to church, heard 1/2 the sermon, stayed for the 2nd service to hear the whole thing
