We had a beautiful weekend. Saturday was our 11th anniversary. We enjoyed the day, and later ate out, dining on fried mushrooms, ribeye and halibut (Nathan and I always share our dinners with each other - always). During the day Nathan tried his wetsuit out in Alaskan waters. He snorkled for awhile and then floated:
After dinner, Nathan said, "Kim, are you sure your dad didn't get here a couple weeks early and is spying on us?" I looked, and saw my dad:

Not really, this guy's beard is a little fuller than my dad's, but he really looks a lot like my dad. I talked to the guy later and told him about the resemblance, he smiled and said, "So your dad looks like Santa too huh?"
Have you ever had a strange dream where your subconscience is trying to tell you something? I was reading on the couch today, and dozed off. When I awoke, I told Nathan, "Wow, twice I dreamed the same dream, where Karen (my sister) was making peanut brittle on the stove, and she kept forgetting about it, and left it there, and I had to deal with it. I was telling my mom she needed to make Karen clean up the whole kitchen because she is so forgetful!" I looked at Nathan and said, "isn't that strange I dreamed it twice?" He said, "maybe that is because you didn't turn off the back left burner earlier when you were cooking, I just turned it off."
I had boiled some water earlier, and did not turn it off, but before Nathan mentioned it, I really did not remember having left it on. And it was the exact same burner as in my dream. How strange is that?
Of course Karen has never cooked anything and just forgotten about it.

I have had recurring dreams and dreams where what was going on around me intruded into a dream but never exactly like you did. It is so funny how you projected onto Karen for a scapegoat. That is bizarre.
