The boys and I went on an overnight homeschool retreat last week to Echo Ranch Bible Camp. We stayed in a little cabin, had meals in the Dining Hall, and the boys got to decide which 5 activities they wanted to do. They both did archery, basketball, rock climbing, and woodcrafts. Tristan did creative writing while Morgan choose cooking. The camp is beautiful and out near Berner's Bay at the end of the road. They have summer camps for kids from age 7 to teens during the summers. We had a bonfire the first night and it was just a great time to get together with other homeschool families in the area. Here are some pics from the day:

Skipping rocks at the beach during free time

Tristan (left) and Morgan (right) climb on the climbing wall

Tristan trying his hand at archery (they both loved archery and did great at it).

Morgan enjoying clean up time in cooking class.
I have a few other photos of the camp itself on my photo blog. It really is a great camp, if anyone is ever looking for a great Christian summer camp for kids - and in Alaska no less! |
