We woke up the other day to a gorgeous rainbow. It wouldn't all fit into my camera viewfinder, so I put two photos together. PLease ignore the obvious seam that I just don't have time to perfect.
My son would envy you the beaver tail cactus in the first photo. He got to spend two weeks with his aunt and uncle in El Paso when they were posted there, and left part of his heart there. Whenever anything now tastes good, looks beautiful, or has cactus, it is, "Almost as nice as Texas."
Welcome to my blog of ocassional ramblings about my life, thoughts, things my kids say and do that make me laugh, and our experiences homeschooling. I'm Kim, I'm married to Nathan and we have four boys, Tristan, Morgan, Luke and Sawyer. I'm a stay at home mom, part-time RN, and photographer wanna-be. We lived in Juneau, Alaska for 2 years, and currently live in the Texas Hill Country on a large working ranch.
