We sang this song at Church on Sunday, the 3rd stanza really spoke to me:
Redeemed (lyrics by Fanny J. Crosby, music by William J. Kirkpatrick)
I think of my blessed Redeemer,
I think of Him all the day long;
I sing, for I cannot be silent;
His love is the theme of my song.
Redeemed, redeemed, Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed, redeemed, His child, and forever, I am.

Mar. 6, 2006 - Hymn Lyrics
In his sermon he made a statement I was saying a silent amen to at the time - but I wanted the cd to make sure I got it right. This is what he said, paraphrased,
"There is a false concept being promoted now under the guise of Christianity, but it is not true Christianity. (Some) pastors are preaching Easter with no resurrection; Christmas is celebrated without a virgin birth; and Jesus is explained away as a teacher who came to model the right way to live. 'Jesus did not come to tell me how to live. He came to die for me, to take my sins upon Himself, to be my redeemer. This is a very important point of theology."
