Part 1

Summary: Static Shock comes to ask the Teen titans for help. Gear is MISSING…

Authors Note: this is my first story so comments would be very nice.

“Hey, that’s not fair your hands move faster than mine!” shouted Beast Boy.

“It’s not my fault,” retorted Cyborg.

“How is anyone supposed to meditate with all this noise going on!” yelled Raven. “I’m going to my room,” Raven muttered.

“What’s up with her?” Beast Boy asked.

“Beats me,” Cyborg answered.

“Let’s play,” Beast Boy said.

“Hit to the left Starfire, come on swing harder,” Robin encouraged while holding a punching bag for Starfire.

“Let’s have a break, I’ll fix my famous Smorloxi Pie,” Starfire suggested.

“Oh, how about just normal pie?” asked Robin.

“Ok,” agreed Starfire.

B E E P B E E P

“Titans Trouble, Mr. Light is robbing another bank volt!” Cyborg yelled.

All the Titans stopped what they were doing and ran out the door.

“Man right when I was finally winning we get called,” Beastboy said. While they were running to the bank volt.

“Titans Go,” Robin Yelled. When they reached the bank volt.

Starfire started shouting her green energy blasts, Raven started turning off Mr. Lights bomb light, Beast Boy turned into an ape and tried to catch Mr. Light, Cyborg helping turn of the bomb and Robin was flipping around helping catch Mr. Light.

“BOO YAA!” Cyborg said when they shot down the bomb.

Then a few minutes later they caught him and brought Mr. Light to the police.

On the way back to the tower, they saw a boy riding on a disk and he had purple lightning all around him.

“Wow, what’s that?” Beast Boy asked.

“I don’t know but it’s coming closer,” Robin answered.

“Wait, I think that’s Static Shock from Dakota, I saw him on the news a few times,” Cyborg said.

“Is it just me or does he look stressed out?” Starfire asked.

“You’re right Starfire,” Robin agreed.

Static came closer and then Robin asked, “You’re Static Shock right? What brings you over here?”

“Yeah I’m Static, and I came because I need your help!” Static answered, hysterically. “My partner Gear has gone missing and I can’t contact the Justice League, so I came to see if you guys could help,” Static explained.

“So what exactly happened to Gear?” Robin asked while raising his eyebrows.

“Well, we were on a routine check and there was a car jacking, it was a small job so I went and Gear was on a building looking out to see if there was any other trouble and that was the last time I saw him.” He paused then added, “That was four days ago! His parents are freaked out and worried. I just don’t know where he could be.” He said clearly not having had any sleep in a while.

“So, did you say that the Justice League didn’t answer?” asked Starfire.

“Yeah,” Static said softly.

“That is very strange,” Raven added.

“I think that we should try to reach them, but first lets go in the tower and let Static have some sleep, while the rest of us try to contact the Justice League.” Robin said.

When they got to the tower Static went to lay down and the Titans started to try to reach the Justice League.

“Is it supposed to take this long?” Starfire asked.

“No, something is wrong,” Raven answered suspiciously.

“But, let’s try one more time,” Robin said, looking a little worried.

“Nope, we still can’t reach them,” Cyborg said.

“Oh no, why can’t we reach them, is someone kidnapping all the suppers are we next? The Justice League are the best super heroes if they caught them then we ARE ALL DONE FOR!!” Beast Boy yelled while turning into a turtle and then hiding himself in his shell.

“Beast Boy, STOP we can’t accomplish anything by freaking ourselves out,” Raven stated.

Then everyone went quiet, until Static walked in.

“Static you should get some rest it looks like you haven’t slept in days,” Robin said.

“I haven’t, because I can’t sleep not knowing where he is. I should have looked more!” Static said panicking.

“Static we will find your friend! Now do you have a communicator, so we can track him?” Robin asked.

“Yes, but I have already tried to call him but there is no answer. I have also tried to track him but it was disconnected.” Static said, taking out his communicator hoping that it would get reconnected somehow.

“Maybe we could fix it somehow,” Robin said.

“Yeah, I could connect it to myself and put it on speakers and then I could put it on a tracker so the instant it reconnects I would know where he is,” Cyborg said.

While they were fixing that, Beast Boy went in the kitchen and got everyone something to eat.

“So, who wants Tofu?” Beast Boy asked

“I would like some Jerulion-tarfnof, please,” Starfire said.

Static looked at her puzzled.

“You get used to her,” Raven said, Static didn’t look convinced.

“Ooookay,” Static said slowly.

“Done,” Cyborg said.

“Good,” Robin said.

“Now what?” Static asked. “Are we just going to sit around and wait for the signal?”

“That’s all we can do.” Robin said, feeling helpless as well.
