Financial Peace University
| So for years I have been really wanting to do the FPU (Financial Peace University) and never seem to be able to find the time to do it with Bryans schedule. We met some friends that were given the audio cd's and they passed them onto us. We started listening to the cd's about 4 weeks ago and can't believe that we have missed what we have learned all these years. But maybe the reason that we missed it was because we were not quite ready to give up all the extra expenses that we had. If I did not feel like makind dinner I loved just ordering pizza or sending Bryan out for dinner. Never thinking that that was the worst mistake in our financial book. But it has been killing us! But anyway....there are so many things that Dave points out and it has made such a big difference in the way that we think and handle our money. We are just getting started....but I am so excited about what I have learned I want to share it with the world...lol...unfortunately I may have pushed it onto some of you...lol SORRY! You have to be ready to hear what he is saying..and if you are not ready...that is okay..God has His timing for everything. But if you are interested in learning more...let me know...I will tell you what I have learned! It is such great info and the peace it has given us already is phenomenal! I plan on trying to find a way to keep an update on how much we are "snow balling". And if you are not convinced it will work for you..then may be seeing how the debt is rolling off in our lives...when we are bearly making it...will make a difference in your thinking. I felt like we had tried everything and became convinced that we were just destined to forever live month the month, but after listening to Dave Ramsey..he has given me hope for the future in our finances. God has given this man a gift to communicate and empower..and that he has done!!! |
