Thank you all so much for praying for Maizey. We went early this morning to pick her up from the ER vet, and brought her to our local vet. She was happy to see me, but a little out of sorts--it was a little upsetting to see her this way again. I guess I was expecting that after a vet visit for her to come out totally "fixed". She is very tired.....Lord willing, she'll be able to come home tonight around 4-5 PM. Please keep praying. The doctors haven't told us yet if they expect her to fully recover from this accident. They are calling it brain trauma--it sounds so awful.
We are all really tired and just tuckerd out--I'm so thankful for my parents. They have done everything they can to help Maizey.....that means so much to me.
Last night I was reading in Proverbs chapter three verses five and six. They say:
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct they paths.
How true these verses have been to me since yesterday afternoon!
Thank you for all your prayers, and please keep praying. I'm so thankful for everything that has already been offered up to Jesus.
In Christ Alone, Tessa
"But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord." ~Jeremiah 9:24 |
