Headed into Week two.
Posted in Homeschool
We made it through week one with little complications. All of the children are doing great and working well together for the most part. I am sorry for the long break between posts and little to no comments left on any blogs from me. This last week has proved a bit trying for me and I am still not altogether settled into the new routine of job (outside of home), homeschool, and my household duties. I know it may take just a little more time as the children get used to the new routine also.
I am doing a lot better with the bed time and sleeping. I am ready to hit the bed by 9 pm and can barely make it past 10 p.m.
. So I really don't think that sticking to that part of the schedule will be a problem
.
We are now heading into week two. I only have mine plus one today as I usually only school Tues- Fri. The older boys wanted to school Mon-Fri
so I made an exception. They do not need as much supervision or require as much lesson planning because they use the whole 9th grade curriculum from the SOS and that really takes a lot off of me.
Well, I must be off to lesson planning for the week and since it is Monday deep cleaning is on the schedule. If I get a little more time today or this evening I must tell of the blessings in the last week. They just keep on rolling in on us. It is amazing!!! Thursday I had much to be thankful for but really was just to sleepy after the day to get on here and blog
about it. So I will tell about that at a later time. I will also tey catching up on some of yall's blogs this week.
Have a blessed day,
Stacy

I'm glad all is going well with you. I wouldn't expect you to have much time to blog with all you are doing.
I wanted to let you know the Language Arts curriculum we are trying. I have the link on my blog, it's Character Quality Language Arts. You can download a month free from their site to try it, that's what I am doing. This is our first day, and so far we like it. I'm doing the 6th grade one. I like it so far, because it's not teacher intensive. Sarah has worked on her own, expect for me checking a few things. I want to try it with Paulie, but I think that will take more time on my part, something I'm not ready for right now. I know you asked about it, so I wanted to let you know. :)

You are still in our thoughts even if you are away! :-) You have a lot on your plate right now. I wanted to thank you for the link to homeschool tracker. I just downloaded it this weekend and trying to get used to using the computer for planning my assignments. I think it will come in handy though.
Blessings & prayers to you,
Tammy

I have had to work outside the home for some time, and have finally been able to cut it down to once a week, (woo hoo!) I used to work 5 days a week and had to start cutting back one client at a time.
It takes work, but is possible, as you are finding, keep plugging away and praying for strength.
